The Phonics programme we use across school is called Little Wandle.
Please use the letter formation rhymes to support the children to form their letters correctly.
Every Friday the children select a book to take home and share with their parents. These books must be returned to school by Friday morning. Then they will get a new book. If your child has not received a new book please speak to their class teacher.
We use Collins eBooks to set reading which is appropriate to your individual child's reading ability. All children have been provided with their own login to access their online account. New books will be added every Friday.
Please support your child to read their eBook at home, using their phonic knowledge and ask them questions about the story!
If you require another copy of your child's login details please contact their class teacher.
Please read with your child every day. The class teachers will monitor who has been reading their ebook. Remember reading will help your child in every area of learning!
